Quick Smoked Salmon Recipes

Salmon is also very easy to cook. In this article, you'll learn how to cook salmon.Salmons are one of the most nutritious fish and a real good source of Omega-3. Its meat can be eaten raw and it is perfect dipping sauces are soy sauce and wasabi, honey mustard, and mango puree. The milky sweet taste of its meat makes this fish stand amid other fishes in the ocean.
Although this delectable fish can be cooked in so many ways, one of the best ways to bring its flavor out is through grilling. The smoke will give an exquisite flavor to the salmon.
Here's One Recipe to make a Smokey Flavor
You can use any salmon that is available in the market, but make sure that it is fresh and not frozen. Use wood in grilling instead of electrical grill, because the smoke from the wood will give a distinct flavor to its meat.
Cut the salmon lengthwise and clean it thoroughly. Do not remove the scales. Mince or grate 2 cloves of garlic and spread it on its meat. Add a dash of salt and pepper and squeeze a little juice of lemon. You can put fresh rosemary or basil leaves inside to add a distinct flavor (whichever you prefer). Close it using a yarn or a stick or you can just put it in a fish grilling basket for easy turning. Do not over cook, fish can cook easily, however, the time of cooking will depend on how big the fish is. Of course, the bigger it is, the longer it will take to cook.

There are plenty of smoked salmon recipes that you can try. The smokey flavor and its flaky pink meat can be made toppings for cold salad or it can be a replacement for bacon bits for carbonara.
You can also buy semi-smoked salmon that's not flaky. You can buy it in blocks or you can have it sliced as thin as you want.
For a quick and easy party food, you can try this smoked salmon recipe: slice cucumbers about 2cm thick. On each cucumber, add a little honey mustard and then top it with thin shavings of smoked salmon. Drizzle the salmon with sweet honey mustard once more and then put 1 or 2 pickled capers and you're done.
