Vinegar is often used as an acidic agent in cooking, because it is food safe and very sour. What a lot of people don't know is that this natural green friendly product has seemingly endless uses around the house. You can find vinegar in the cleaning or baking aisles at the grocery store.
Most of the cures call for white vinegar, unless otherwise specified. A few of the recipes may call for apple cider vinegar, mainly because it is easier to swallow.
