  7. In A Slow Cooker

This is the easiest way to prepare pork chops. Simply put them in the slow cooker, turn the heat to low and let them cook for five hours. Cola is the simple ingredient that makes the pork perfect. Add one liter of cola for every three chops. In addition to tenderizing the meat, the cola adds a sweet taste that brings out the meat's natural flavor. Serve the chops over sweet sticky rice or with baked barbecue potatoes and vegetables.
  8. In The Oven

The best way to cook pork in the oven involves a two-step method. First, grease a large iron skillet with shortening. Heat it to the highest setting possible, and sear the pork chops for 30 seconds on each side. Grease a baking dish, place the chops in it and put a spoonful of applesauce on each piece of meat. Slice two apples and two medium onions. Sprinkle the apples and onions over the pork chops. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees, and let the meat cook covered for two to three hours. Baked pork chops are good with apple bread, pasta salad and baked squash.

    On The Stove

Cooking pork chops on the stove is fast and easy. The only seasonings necessary are onion powder, seasoned salt and cracked black pepper. Coat the bottom of a frying pan with olive oil, and turn the heat setting to medium. While the pan heats, rub just a sprinkle of each seasoning on the pork chops. Fry them for about six minutes on each side or until the juices run clear. Fried pork is great with Au Gratin potatoes, corn and sweet rolls.
  9. On The Grill

There are several good marinades for grilled chops. One is Italian dressing. Let the meat soak in the dressing for about one hour. Another good marinade involves putting cherries and almonds in a blender. Use sweetened canned cherries or maraschino cherries. One jar or can is usually enough, and add a handful of fresh almonds. For a stronger almond flavor without the crunchiness of the nuts themselves, substitute a drop or two of almond oil instead. Let the chops sit in the mixture for one hour. After that hour is up, wrap them in foil or coat them in olive oil. Both methods involve cooking the meat on the grill for four minutes on each side. The foil method yields more tenderness, but cooking them open with olive oil gives them a full smoky flavor. Serve these chops with grilled vegetables and coconut rice.
